Channel Rotary currently offers two main types of membership
Full Member
Whilst we meet weekly and have a meal at most meetings, we principally meet to plan projects, have guest speakers, plan socials and run activities.
We don’t have a formal dress code and membership is open to people of all races, colours, genders, and political preferences.
As a full Rotarian, you will have a Rotary Badge, have access to a members area on the Channel website and be included in the Channel Rotary e-mail list and WhatsApp group and receive a monthly newsletter.
You will have the opportunity to meet fellow Rotarians on a regular basis, be fully involved in all aspects of the club and help develop and take part in a variety of projects and social events
‘Friends of Channel‘
Maybe full membership is not for you at the moment, so why not start by becoming a Friend of Rotary. If you would like to be involved in our projects, help with fundraising, enjoy meeting and working with other people, then becoming a Friend of Rotary could be for you.
There are no subscription fees or mandatory attendance requirements at club meetings. However, Friends are warmly encouraged to attend meetings, participate in social events, and contribute to voluntary, fundraising, or service activities.
This introductory phase could lead to full membership, with the cost of meals and social activities during this period aligned with those for members.
